Veggie Protein for Your Blood Pressure

Most people associate protein solely with meat. But vegetables also contain protein--in the form of an amino acid called glutamic acid.

Why does this matter? The American Heart Association estimates that if Americans consumed an ample amount of vegetable protein, the national average blood pressure would drop by 2 mmHg.
