Don’t Go Low in the Hospital!

If you have diabetes and head to the hospital for any reason, make sure to keep your blood sugar levels high enough to avoid hypoglycemia. New research shows that if levels dip below 50 mg/dl—and stay there—patients tend to stay in the hospital longer and have an increased risk of death.
